Paper Airplanes

October 08, 20251 min read

My sister and I were seated on opposite sides of our living room floor folding paper airplanes for our paper airplane race.

When I finished folding mine, I began to color it with colored pencils. I drew a flaming white sphere on the tip of the plane and gave it a fiery tail. I was going to call it Rainbow Comet. My sister is going to be really impressed with this unique design and name! I thought.

As I was adding the finishing touches to my plane, my little sister stood up and ran over to me.

"Look at my airplane!" She held it out excitedly. The top had been carefully colored with the colors of the rainbow and printed on the side were the words: Rainbow Comet.
